2 days of Chamonix Off Piste tuition with one of our Elite Instructors, Shona Tate
and 1 day with a Mountain Guide from the Wilderplaces team. This course focuses on
improving your skiing skills, abolishing your fears, giving you new techniques and
psychological advantages to tackling "The Off Piste" then being able to put it all
into practice with the Guide on the 3rd day.
Ski touring the Haute Route from Chamonix to Zermatt rates for many as a must do
trip. The classic 120km route follows some of the most impressive alpine scenery
and includes 6000m of ascent and of course, very rewarding descent.
Trips take place in March & April when the conditions are suitable.
These 6 day Chamonix backcountry courses are our most popular here in Chamonix. The
course time is shared with one of our Elite Instructors, Derek Tate and Mountain
Guide, Robbie Fenlon. The skills you will be given will be tailored to your level
of experience, the courses run as level 1 (Beginner), 2 (Intermediate) & 3 (Advanced
skiers). A fantastic opportunity to learn both the skiing & the mountain skills.
