What Level am I?

Backcountry course Jan 2011 Chamonix;

“Thanks so much for such an outstanding backcountry course last week.  Tony and I thoroughly enjoyed all aspects of the week and are very glad to now have at least some technique to work on!!   We are now planning a ski touring trip with friends in the Bernese Oberland (have asked Robbie if we are capable!).
No doubt we will be back for more instruction next year but in the mean time please feel free to use any of the videos you took of us for teaching, YouTube or whatever, and if you would like testimonial just say the word.
We are likely to be hanging around and about the area for a few months so keep your eyes peeled for a gal in a yellow jacket practising her rotational separation and a guy in a red jacket practising committing his hips forwards!!
Thanks a million”  Tony and Rachael

Backcountry course Jan 2010 Chamonix;

I wanted to let you know we thought the course was great - a really nice mix of learning and application within a fun group atmosphere.  I have to admit I was nervous of the whole group course aspect (I wasn't sure it would be my bag!), but the course sounded good enough to offset that and give it a go and I'm really glad we did because the group aspect made it much more fun and collaborative.  We thought the quality of your instruction was excellent and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend you or get some more lessons if we were in the area.  In addition, we felt very safe with Jeff and thought he was an excellent guide.

I really appreciate the effort that you and Jeff made to improving our skiing and touring skills, while also making this a very safe and enjoyable trip. I have spent quite a bit of time with guides and ski instructors over the years, but this is the first time that I feel like I have made a quantum leap in my abilities. The course really delivered on the objectives. My trip from the U.S. was pretty uncomplicated, so I would surely consider doing this again. Thank you, again!

Afternoon - just returned from a great week in Chamonix . Cant find Derek's address hence the e-mail to you . Please thank him from me - I had a wonderful time and learnt loads . The hotel was really good too and Jeff was excellent. Thank you once again .

Hi Shona, Just writing to thank you for a great off piste course last month. We really enjoyed it and at the end of the three days, felt that we had made real progress. Your ability to analyse bad habits and incorrect technique and then to suggest ways to correct them, was exactly what we needed. (my right arm is no longer left behind!) The last day skiing from the top of the Grands Montets with Pete was superb, as was the weather and the additional transceiver training and snow / avalanche awareness was very informative. We might well be back for more, providing I can remember where I put my Arva!!!

Thanks once again, Peter
